PTZ
Cameras provide remote control of the camera's Pan,
Tilt and Zoom
functions. Available
in many different sizes and functions, PTZ
cameras provide a much greater level of security and coverage.
These cameras can be set at any position and can be controlled through the systems DVR or PC. With remote keyboards, LAN access or even infrared remote controls, PTZ's can be accessed from anywhere in the house or office. When connected to systems with Internet access, PTZ's can also be controlled remotely from anywhere. The PTZ camera
can be set as a stationary camera and only moved by the system or user, or
can be programmed to scan back and forth providing the greatest coverage
area, thus requiring less cameras to monitor the location. |

| Some PTZ
cameras come with the "Motion Follow" function, allowing
the camera to detect motion then automatically move and follow the motion.
This function will provide the greatest security level.
Most PTZ cameras are available with many of the same options other stationary cameras have, such as:
When choosing a PTZ camera for your location, always consider the distance and width of the "Field-of View", and the functions you will need for the location of the camera. This will ensure that the correct lens and functions are available for your requirements. If you are unsure about the camera you need, our highly trained technical staff can help you determine the best camera to use in your location. |
